CHICKASAW NATION AVIATION & SCIENCE ACADEMY (CNASA)
June 18-22, 2007 - This camp is for students grades nine through 12. June 25-29, 2007 - This camp is for students grades five through eight.
Chickasaw students interested in space, science, math and flying are encouraged to attend the week long adventure of their age group.
There are two action packed weeks of flying in simulators, learning how to read flight plans and getting a chance to fly in a real plane. Each week an award is presented to the top gun and super top gun of the week. These awards encourage our students to strive to do the best they can and learn as much as possible.
CNASA has established a scholarship program to provide all students across the country the opportunity to participate in this wonderful academy. Interested applicants must submit a scholarship application containing competitive criteria. A selection committee will be established and each completed application will be evaluated and ranked to determine who the scholarship recipients will be for each week of the academy. Scholarships will pay for the recipient’s roundtrip airfare, mileage, lodging and meals. Scholarships are limited.
For questions regarding CNASA and for applications, please contact Jennifer Brown at (580) 421-7711 or e-mail her at jennifer.brown@chickasaw.net.
