Field Descriptions
Number of Credits For each course in the current semester enter the credit hours in this column.
Letter Grade Enter the letter grade earned for the corresponding course (A,B,C,D or F).
Grade Points This value is calculated by the GPA Calculator when the Compute button is clicked. You do not need to enter anything here.
Current # of Credits Enter the total number of credits you have accumulated prior to the current semester.
Current Cumulative GPA Enter the grade point average earned for your credits prior to the current semester.
New Cumulative GPA This value represents your cumulative GPA after adding the current values you entered. This value is calculated by the GPA Calculator, you do not need to enter anything here.
Total Number of Credits The total number of credit hours entered for the current semester. This value is calculated by the GPA Calculator, you do not need to enter anything here.
Semester GPA Your grade point average for the current semester. This value is calculated by the GPA Calculator, you do not need to enter anything here.
Total Grade Points The total number of grade points earned for the current semester. This value is calculated by the GPA Calculator, you do not need to enter anything here.
Future Expected GPA Select the GPA that you think you could earn in order to improve your cumulative GPA.
GPA Desired Enter the GPA to which you would like to improve. (Enter a number higher than your current GPA).
Credits Needed This is the number of hours you would have to take in the future, while earning the selected future GPA, in order to raise your cumulative GPA to the desired level.
