ACT/SAT Exams
- ACT or SAT scores are required by nearly all schools to admit a student. If you have not taken an ACT or SAT exam please contact the Admissions Department at the school of your choice to ask which exam the school requires. Each school should give you testing dates and times for the exams. ACT and SAT exams do cost, please contact Chickasaw Nation Education Services to apply for assistance with the cost. If you know the school you want to attend you can request that the scoring information is sent directly to that school.
Applying to Schools
- You are able to apply in person. You will need to contact the Admissions Department of the school you desire to attend and ask for an Application of Admissions. Information you will need to apply for admission includes: ACT or SAT exam scores, official high school transcript, social security numbers, driver's license information and contact information (phone #, address, e-mail). Some schools may allow you to apply for admission online.
FASFA (Financial Aid)
- All students will be required to complete a FASFA form each year. You may do this online at www.fafsa.ed.gov or retrieve a paper application at a local college. Information you will need includes: W-2, If you under the age of 24 you will need parent(s) previous year tax information (there are exceptions to be considered independent under the age of 24 such as: married, a parent, orphan and other circumstance, contact the school of your choice for further details) driver's license, social security number and contact information. You will be given a pin number, it is important you remember this number. Your pin number allows you access to information you will need in the future.
Completing Scholarship Applications

All students are encouraged to complete scholarship applications. If awarded, scholarships may assist you in paying for tuition, books or school related expenses. To apply for the Chickasaw Nation Education Services grants and scholarships, visit www.chickasaweducationservices.com. For a Chickasaw Nation Education Services grant or scholarship application to be considered complete please send the following information: schedule of classes, student aid report, copy of Chickasaw citizenship card, official high school, essay (high school seniors only) and aletter of recommendation (high school seniors only).
